MY DAD

MY DAD

Sometimes serious
Sometimes not
My daddy”s temper is
Not so hot

But if he gets angry 
Which is one in while
You will run for your life
more than a mile

Not so thin
Not so fat
My daddy is handsome 
That is a fact!

He works hard
All the time
While I sit at home
And play with slime

He is an encyclopedia
He only watches news
Most of the time you will
See him dressed in black and blue

He teaches me math 
all day and night 
He wants me to shine 
nice and bright

He loves to drive 
at great speed
Sitting with him 
is an adventure and a treat

I love my father 
more than he knows
This love multiplies
and grows and grows

THE GRATITUDE LOVER Gratitude and love  A perfect blend Are the ingredients of my grandmother Whom I love to no end!   She is 65  But doesn’t seem her age Cause my granny relives her childhood With me at every stage   She plays games And narrates stories Cooks for me  My favorite desserts and savories   She doesn’t look her age Not even a bit Amongst aunties so old She is absolutely fit   She loves me the most And takes me to the mall Buys me everything That I need or recall.   My tantrums are many And she can handle them If she is the flower Then I am the stem   She’s sweet like sugar And tangy like a lemon I am not calling her lemonade But that’s an awesome combination.   She’s a business tycoon And soft like butter But when she’s with me Her eyelashes flutter!   My granny is the best and like no other I try to keep her away Even from my brother! -Ananmay Agarwal
